Excellent all around, an beautiful historical treasure, I didn't really appreciate at the time I booked it.

The old traditional style of the building and its location. Easy parking etc. The evening bar and restaurant staff were helpful and friendly.

Quiet and laid back.

Liked the location and the atmosphere of the hotel. The dinner in the Speakeasy was delicious. The grounds were kept up very nicely and I really enjoyed the seating areas on the front porch and the fall decorations.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Mimslyn Inn. We had never been to Luray Caverns and really enjoyed the spectacular site. We enjoyed 2 dinners at The Speakeasy and both nights were exceptional. Our room was clean, quiet and represented the online photos exactly. We didn't have a chance to use the pool or the exercise room. The drive up the circular driveway to the front entrance is beautiful!! We hope to visit again.

Reasonable value with unlimited coffee at breakfast. Speakeasy bar and restaurant was lively and used by non-residents which is a good sign. Food was good. Some nice old history books to read in main sitting area.

We were very happy with everything. - the food was prepared as we ordered, it was clean, staff was pleasant, the silverware was so shiny! Great coffee. No negative comment. The proximity to hiking trails and the cavern was great.

The building was fabulous. I had dinner in the speakeasy. It was excellent.. Chandler was my waiter, and he was professional and friendly. The room’s furniture was beautiful.. I recommended the hotel to a number of my friends who are in the area who were curious about it

Love Staying in Historic hotels and this one didn't disappoint. Staff and services were great and the food at the Speakeasy was superb.

The staff was so gracious and wonderful and even gave us a free room upgrade. Food at the Speakeasy and Circa 31 was delicious. The location was exactly what we needed for the places we wanted to go, but we regret not having the time to take advantage of the amenities during our stay (pool, fire pit, hammocks, sky terrace, etc.) We knew there wouldn't be a fridge for the particular room we booked, so we brought a cooler and made use of their ice machine. In the closet, there was a full length mirror and two robes. The bathroom had a jetted tub and a fan.

I intended to stay local to Luray Caverns and close to Endless Caverns. I wanted to find a hotel that was somewhat historical, I did not realize I found something part of the historical hotels of America. I was splendidly surprised. The goal was to enjoy the time spent in the hotel, but to get out and enjoy the area. Which is what my 9 year old and I did. The morning we checked out we were both awake early enough to walk down the long drive way and catch the sun rise over the edge of the mountains. Beautiful hotel, friendly staff!

Clean, comfortable, great atmosphere, about 5-10 minutes from Luray Caverns, had a really good burger and martini in The Speakeasy.

We got champagne because it was our anniversary! Nice touch. We loved the tub. The bed was very comfortable. The staff was more than hospitable. Great place. Southern hospitality at its finest.

The dining room was beautiful, and the breakfast was was sufficient - coffee was bitter, there was a bug on my knife. but the food was well prepared. I was hoping there would be skim milk but was disappointed

Very happy that hotel had electric car chargers! We used it every day; it was a life saver where there were very few chargers nearby.

We loved having the Roosevelt suite to celebrate our 50th anniversary! The dinner at the Speak Easy was so fantastic! We also enjoyed the Sunday brunch! The staff was amazingly helpful ! The exterior setting of the hotel as well as the wonderful internal features were what memories are made of!
